GSA Announcements

The Graduate Student Association has published the findings of the 2025–2026 Comprehensive Graduate Student Experience Survey. The survey collected responses from 262 graduate students over a 100-day period, covering academic affairs, research needs, stipends and financial concerns, student well-being, mentorship, library and technology resources, transportation, and the role of the Graduate Student Association.

As this academic year comes to a close, President Vamsi Krishna Undavalli extends his deepest gratitude to the graduate student community and reflects on a year of growth, collaboration, and meaningful progress for the Graduate Student Association.

The Graduate Student Association is proud to announce the official list of candidates for the 2026–2027 Executive Council elections. Candidate campaigning begins today, and we encourage all graduate students to review the statements of intent of those running to represent our community.

The Graduate Student Association proudly recognizes Tyler Fezzey and Morgan Payne as the recipients of the Outstanding Graduate Student Awards for their exceptional academic achievements, service, and leadership at The University of Alabama.
