The Eighth Annual Graduate Student Research Conference will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 15-17, 2005. The goal of this event is to enhance student awareness and involvement in research at the University of Alabama. All graduate students participating in research of various fashions (qualitative, quantitative, practical applications, literature reviews, historical reviews, original theories, etc.) are encouraged to enter.
The primary goals of the conference are to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their work and to promote understanding and communication between our disciplines. Additional benefits are to have students think about the higher goals and benefits of their research by presenting their work in a way that is accessible and understandable to those outside their discipline, and to create a positive university research environment by promoting student research.
All graduate students are encouraged to participate by presenting and attending. An open invitation is extended to all students (both graduate students and undergraduate students) to attend the conference and discover the exciting research that is taking place by students on the UA campus!
